The Cafe on Broadway

The Tour de France began this week with Andreas Kloden of the Livestrong Radio Shack Team carrying Collin Marsh’s name as part of the Lance Armstrong Livestrong Team. You can see it on channel 49. Grandson of Rick and Carolyn Robinson. Collin’s complete story can be found at www.caringbridge.org/visit/collinmarsh where the family has set up a site. This site requires registration, but it only takes a minute. Way to go Team Collin!!!

The Word on Main Street

We have Valentine’s Treat boxes to purchase for your friend or sweetheart. They come with a Whole Leaf Tea and Cookie pairings with a card on top, or try our Espresso and Chocolate pairing, always a good choice! Come by and check our bakery case, it will be stocked with ideas.

Are you going out of town for Thanksgiving? Come by the Cafe and buy Coffee beans before you leave so you aren’t stuck drinking something that came from a can! We have a good variety and sell whole bean, or it can be ground. We also sell French presses and Moka Pots if you need something portable to make your coffee with.
Thanksgiving is a great time to see family and friends, and good coffee is cheaper than therapy.

We’ll be open for Sunday lunch at noon during our area Christmas open house on November 15, until our usual close at 10pm. After lunch or during open house, browse our many coffee and tea gift ideas. These make wonderful christmas, wedding, and birthday presents. Elegant Bodum products including beautiful glass teapots and french presses, gorgeous double-wall glassware (never too hot to touch!), lovely loose and bag teas, freshly roasted coffee beans, the italian Bialetti Moka Pot stovetop espresso maker and much more. We’ll be having Moka Pot and French Press demonstrations- or just relax and enjoy a latté and homemade pastry.

The Cafe on Broadway will also be a vendor at the “Taste of Home” cooking class, in the high school gym, open at 5pm on Saturday, November 14.
